Mr. Murray W. McDonald, Chairman
Mr. McDonald is a former Senior Officer of the Canadian Armed Forces and a Military Pilot. He has been a senior administrative and operational manager for the Canadian National Defense Program. He was also Commanding Officer of two Flying Squadrons, Director of Reserves and Director of Land Aviation for Canada.
Mr. McDonald is also a Chairman of a major Canadian company with its market in Asia and Middle East. He has an excellent working knowledge of Pacific Rim and Asian countries and a diversified background in the Canadian marketplace.
Mr. Salahuddin Jalaluddin, Executive Director
Mr. Jalaluddin has 15 years of experience working in Senior Management Positions in public and private sectors prior to assuming responsibilities as Treasurer of SMS. He is a graduate of National College of Arts. He studied Communications in Business Environment at Queens University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
Mr. Jalaluddin thrives on dynamic environment. He has demonstrated leadership qualities, management experience, excellent communication skills and a collaborative client service oriented approach through his business career. He provides high level of strategic leadership to the professional team of SMS around the globe. Mr. Jalaluddin is extremely active in various Canadian Ethnic and Cultural Non-profit Organizations as a volunteer and as member of the Board of Directors. He is an Executive Director of another major Canadian Company.
Mr. Seun Kan, Director of Sales and Operation
Mr. Seun Kan has a MSc degree from University of Western Ontario, Canada. He is a marketing Consultant in hi-tech industry for Canadian companies in the Asia Pacific Region. He is a also a business owner with business activities in Canada and China. He has been invited by city governments of China to establish business partnerships for Canadian companies with the hi-tech communities in Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou Dalian and other Chinese cities.
Mr. Kan is a Committee Member responsible for the Chinese market with the Global Connection Committee of the Ottawa Center of Research and Innovation (OCRI).
Mr. Albert, Kar Chong Tang, Associate Director
Mr. Tang is a local businessman and a leader of the Chinese community in Ottawa and Canada. He is currently appointed by the States Department of the Chinese Government as the Advisor of the All-China Federation of Overseas Chinese, a four-year appointment. Albert is also the Chairman of the Chinese Freemasons of Ottawa. In Addition, Albert is the owner of one of the Ottawa landmark restaurants and a travel agency that is authorized by the Chinese Embassy to provide VISA services to people travelling to China.
Albert is very active in the Chinese-Canadian diplomacy. He was invited along with the Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister to represent the Canadian Government and Canadian Chinese to attend the 1997 Hong Kong returns to China celebration.
