This area is a major manufacture base of the Guangdong Province in the southern part of China. China produces 65% of the consumer goods in the world and 50% of them are produced in this region. Products manufactured in this region are well known for their quality, new ideas for designs and high volume of production.

The north eastern provinces have been the heavy industrial manufacturing base of China for decades. The biggest city in this region is Shengyang. The region of Shenyang and its neighbouring cities is one of the biggest automobile (and accessories) manufacturing areas in China.
